Background
Located in Downtown Concord, NC, for over forty (40) years, we have responsibly served Cabarrus and surrounding counties and clients throughout North Carolina, and interests they may have in other locals as well. Well-versed in the law as well as knowledgeable of the best auxiliary ancillory (environ, surveys, etc.) services in the area, we have established firm roots of success in multi-faceted areas of Real Estate Law. Even though the land we deal with is in the Carolinas, our client list includes investors and property owners throughout the states and internationally. Robert Critz, raised in Cabarrus County, founded the firm in 1974. Mary Elizabeth Stewart joined the firm in 1994 and Suzanne Hornaday Birmingham in 1991, all with deep Cabarrus County roots and well respected in the area.

Suzanne Hornaday Birmingham
- Concord native
- Attended Salem College and graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1974
- Graduated from Duke University School of Law in 1981
- Entered into general practice of law with Robert Critz
- Title Attorney with Investors Title Insurance Company, Chapel Hill, NC, in 1983
- Returned to private practice with Law Offices of Robert M. Critz, PA in 1991
- Focus on residential and commercial real property law
